The Built Environment includes all the physical parts of where we live, work and recreate. It encompasses all forms of buildings including housing, industrial, commercial, hospital, and schools. As structural engineers, we design buildings for the loadings and forces which they would encounter. We also undertake inspection and investigations of buildings either during construction, to ensure that the works are carried out properly, or after construction, to uncover faults that have developed during the life of the structure.

Some of our projects include a farm building on the hills of Todmorden, an MOT test center in Radcliffe, and a conversion of a luxurious seven-bedroom house in Bolton.
